EMSI has specialized in novel applications of pattern recognition technology to interpretation of imagery. We have successfully applied our proprietary image matching algorithm, Distortion Invariant Matching, to fully automate radar image processing applications that previously required extensive human operator intervention.
We have performed extensive work in the application of pattern recognition technology to the interpretation and exploitation of SAR radar imagery. In particular, we have developed algorithms and code to automatically register image templates to radar imagery. This automation reduced the labor intensive image processing time from two hours to about two seconds!
